Wow what a great resturant and pub! I was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere. I had the rib eye. It was cooked to perfection. The steak was actually seasoned with more than just salt and pepper and tasted amazing. Even the sides had flavor and seasoning. You can tell whoever is the chef actually cares what he puts put to the customers. My wife had the fish and chips. It was perfectly fried and flakey. Even the tarter sauce was made in house and so much better than from the bottle. Fries were crisp and delicious. Service was great too. Huge drink and beer menu. You have to try this place
I visited Boston Tavern for the first time on a Friday and then returned the following two days, Saturday and Sunday, to enjoy the same dish. I had a salad with steak, and it was absolutely delicious, loaded with fresh fruit. The atmosphere was friendly, and the place was clean. Boston Tavern has quickly become one of my favorite spots To hang out.
Fantastic potatos with cheddar and the burger was good (very oily which doesn’t sit well in my stomach but it was tasty). It did take 40 min for my food to be ready, but they had just opened for the day.
The fish tacos were excellent and flavorful. My friends salad was amazing and really fresh. But enough with the food review. I wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful woman who helped us suggesting what we wanted. Her service and competence was extraordinary above and beyond. I wanted to thank Meagan S. For her wonderful commitment to work in a very challenging environment, doing what she does isn’t something suited for everyone and boy she did a great job. Truly a local treasure. My servers have always been incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast. The dishes are massive and always taste home made. This spot truly encourages you to drop the phone with there fun placemats to all the memories the decor stirs up. The atmosphere here is incredibly unique. It’s perfect for every occasion, and very family friendly while also being a great date spot.
Always a good meal! Fun martinis and decent prices. Something for everyone.
